Sorry it has been so long!

Sorry that I haven't posted anything in a while, we have had a few busy weeks. They haven't been overly busy, but busy enough where I am lucky to get the few things done during the day that I set out to do!
Well Jamie turned 5 months yesterday. He is eating his solid foods really well...likes everything to be a bit on the thick side so I have to mix all the jar stuff with cereal to thicken it up. I gave him a few small bites of veggie puffs today and he did ok with them. It looked like he was trying to chew his tounge and not the puff piece though. He has also taken to making a coughing sound, not sure why, but he finds it very entertaining and does it all the time, along with the razzies with his tounge. Those are always fun when I have just put a mouthful of food in and he spits half of it back out at me. He isn't rolling over yet, but he is getting there. He will roll himself up on his side while he is holding his feet, but he doesn't seem to go any further than that for now. He has also been standing in the highchair and car seat any time you try to sit him down. He sort of leans back on the backing of the highchair and then just stands there and won't sit. One of my friends gave me a new exercauser to borrow, so I am sure he will enjoy standing in that. Still no teeth, but the drool doesn't stop! He is back to sleeping through the night. For a few weeks he had me up again at night to nurse, guess it was a growth spurt. He easliy fits into 9 month clothing, anything smaller looks like he is waiting for a flood as they are so short! He is also fitting into the size 3 diapers and those seem to be best for him now as he keeps leaking out of the size 2....not pretty considering he is eating so much solid food now.
Kiera is still enjoying her preschool. We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday with her class and she had tons of fun. She got to pick some cotton and pick a pumpkin to bring home. She also went on a hay ride and loved it. I am taking her to see the Disney on Ice show in December and she can't wait. I am sure she will be in full princess dress as the show is the Princess Wishes show. Andrew is doing well, getting ready to start indoor soccer later this month and then he will play basketball in January. Baseball will be in the spring, so he will be busy over the next few months with sports. We are all heading to the fair this weekend, Kiera can't wait to get there and have her face painted. Andrew is ready for the rides! I will gladly sit and watch, I think I am past the rides! Pat will start working on the basement soon. He has it all cleaned out and ready to seal the floor. He got the new tankless waterheater put in a few weekends ago and it works great! I am doing ok. I have been helping out with a dog rescue group in the area fostering dogs. We have only had two so far, and they have only stayed for one night. I am sure that we will have one stay longer soon. They say it goes in waves, we will get tons of dogs in at the end of summer when everyone gets back to school and people realize they can't keep up with the dog. I am sure there will be a wave of dogs soon after the holidays when people realize they can't keep the puppies that were given as gifts. We mainly are fostering the older dogs, no puppies for us. We just don't have the time or energy to deal with a young dog. Other than that, things here are business as usual. I will get some pictures up soon..take care! Kelly
