Birthday Boy!

I can not believe that Jamie is one, the year has gone by so fast! All day yesterday when I saw the clock I would think to myself what I was doing at that time a year ago. Very hard to think that we waited so long for him to get here and once here the time has just flown by. Jamie's first year has been full of fun. Kiera and Andrew are really having fun with him and now that Jamie has more personality they really do like to play with him and have Jamie laugh at them. Jamie also gets VERY excited when Pat comes home. He jumps around in his highchair, if that is where he is when daddy comes in, or if he is on the floor he crawls over to him. And if Pat dares to come in the house and Jamie sees him and then Pat not come right to get him, Jamie gets very mad. I don't recall Kiera having this reaction when Pat would come home, but I could be forgetting it as I do forget alot. The day yesterday was busy for Jamie. After dropping Kiera off at school we ran errands and he fell asleep in the car onthe way home from the grocery store. I let him sleep in the car until we had to go get Kiera from school, we just went early to her school and I sat in the parking lot listening to Clark Howard on the radio. After that we had a birthday lunch at Pat's office and then we were home, where Jamie decided he didn't want to nap anymore that day. So the afternoon was hard since he was being so difficult. Once we sat down to dinner he was better, food always has that affect on him. Pat got home in time for the cake and then we bathed all the dirty kids and I took Kiera and Jamie for a nice long walk, which Jamie fell asleep on. We actually opened his gifts this morning, but he was still kind of whiney, I think he knew he was going to the doctor this morning. He has yet another ear infection, no mention of tubes from the doctor. He is growing well, weighs in at 21 lbs and 13 oz, and he is 30 1/2 inches long.
