here is jamie in timeout. we tried the stairs but he didn't seem bothered by the fact that he was on them, ie he found other things to do there. so we went old school and put him in the chair in the corner. he wasn't too thrilled with it and would sit there. the problem came when it was time to get him out of time out and he would say, "no, i'm in timeout" and he wouldn't leave. needless to say the timeout chair didn't last long. this child will be the hard one as he doesn't seem to care what his punishment is.



andrew and jamie were snuggling on the couch and jame fell asleep on his big brother. jame has been loving some time with andrew lately, and andrew is being a good sport about it.
pat and i had some alone time on valentine's day and went out shopping. we hit up circuit city, which was picked over, but we still managed to get a few movies and rock band for the ps3. jame loves the drums and we are still trying to figure out the microphone so kiera can belt out some tunes. after that we hit the mall where we both got some clothing and then headed to costco. we soon realized why it is we don't shop on the weekends, that place was a zoo! i will head back there tomorrow as we need more stuff. it is amazing how quickly we go through things. i really can't imagine what our grocery bill will be like when andrew is a teenager and jamie is a bit bigger and eating more. tomorrow is my dad's b-day and i will head over for dinner with him and the two little one's as pat is taking andrew to meet his dad. i had thought about spending the night, but i am not sure if i am getting pat's cold or not, so we may just head home. today was a lazy day for me and jamie, just did a little bit of wash, went to target to get a few things and then went to bed to rest while he watched his garbage truck movie. the boy loves the gargabe trucks. next week will be pretty uneventful, i finally get a few days of not working in jamie's class....woohoo! sara goes to the vet to get spayed on monday and we will pick her up tuesday afternoon. no idea what i will do with my free time while all the kids are at school, but i am sure i can wander somewhere and just enjoy the quiet. maybe i will splurge and get my nails done!
