Two Weeks Old!

Well today marks the two week birthday of Jamie. Hard to believe that he has been here only two weeks...it seems like much longer! He is growing well....we went to the doctor for his four day check up and he had gained back two ounces...he was at 8 lbs 13 oz. We go to his two week check up tomorrow, not sure what his weight willbe but the doctor had told us at the last check up they wanted him to gain an ounce a day. With all the eating he is doing I don't think that will be hard for him to gain! He is still sleeping pretty well. Gets me up a few times at night, but not for very long. He goes right back to bed after a quick snack. Today he is being a mam's boy and wanting to be held all day. Not sure why, but he isn't happy sleeping anywhere but on me. So right now he is snug as a bug in his baby wrap while I type and do other little chores around the house.
Andrew only has two more weeks of school....yippy! I know he will be glad to have this school year over with and get anice break. Kiera is doing well....she is loving going to the pool although it is hard to get there when it is so hot since Jamie can't be out in the heat for too long. She has a little play table on the back deck that she likes, and she is enjoying the sprinkler. Pat is back to work and gearing up for a busy June. I am doing well, feel really great and am just dealing with the lack of sleep. I try to get naps when I can, but that can be hard when there are two other kids in the house that want me to be up and doing things with them. Hopefully it won't be too long before Jamie sleeps through the night. I am hoping he will be doing it by the time the next school year starts. At least we have the summer to hang out and not be on any sort of schedule.
This past weekend my Aunt Beck, Uncle John, Aunt Kathy and Uncle Bob all came over for a visit with my dad. It was great to be able to see them and for them to see the kids. I found out that two of my cousins are expecting...one not due until winter and the other found out two weeks ago that a baby will be ready for adoption in early June. So they have four weeks to get ready for a baby! We will have to get all these babies together soon!
