Hi Baby!
Well today Jamie decided he would put two words together...."Hi baby!" I say this to him every time I get him up from bed, so I guess that is why he decided that he would now say them. He kept saying it over and over as we walked through Target, it was very cute. He also says thank you, get down, please, cup, bye, and of course mama and dada. Of course he says these things with his own little twist ,not like it comes out clear. He is still signing and it really helps with the communication and cuts down on frustration on both sides. Most of the time he says something he is doing the sign as well, so for bath he just says "ba" but is doing the sign so we know what he wants. He is very much a child on a schedule, and he likes it! Once he is done with dinner he starts to sign that he wants his bath, and gives you these funny looks, like he is saying, "come on, you know you want to give me a bath. Just put the fork down and get me up and take me to the bath." Oh, he has also just started to say "up". Today at lunch he was fussing and I asked him what he wanted and he said "up". He will also answer you if you ask yes or no questions. I asked him today if he wanted to go play and he says "uh-huh"....then of course when I ask if he is ready to nap I get "uh-un". He cracks himself up with all that he is saying and doing now. He seems to still be teething, but no teeth are anywhere in sight. He just drools and fusses, and he is sleeping lots! Hopefully the sleeping lots will last a while, I need at least one of my children to enjoy naps past the age of two!
