Well I guess while I have the time I am going to post. I was reading another blog a while ago and a person ahd put down 100 things about themselves, some things people might know and some things people might not know. I figure that since I am the one who does this darn blog, mainly about my darling kids, that I would put up some things about me. Here goes....maybe you will learn something about me, and maybe not!
* I have lived here my whole life....my dad still lives in the house they bought back in 1975 when they moved here two weeks before I was born.
* I am the youngest of four kids, and yes I am spoiled rotten.
* I had my first child at the age of 22, that seems like a life time ago! He is about to be 10!!!!
* I started playing soccer when I was in 2nd grade, met my husband playing soccer, and he and I just started playing again.
* I am a Taurus, and I live up to the stubborn reputation that we have. I was also born in the year of the Rabbit.
* I love animals!!!!!!
* I wanted to be many things when I was little....but the one that was maybe the most unusual was I wanted to be a dolphin trainer at Sea World. I wanted to do that in college but never follwed through.
* I have a degree in criminal justice and was going to go into forensics but having a family was more important to me.
* I am very shy when I first meet people, but once I feel comfortable I can be a little silly.
* I love cake - german chocolate cake, coconut cake, carrot cake, chocolate cake....mainly any cake.
* I love being at home with my kids, although there are time when I really miss adult conversation....you can only play Barbie and color Strawberry Shortcake so many times before you begin to loose it.
* There are days when it is hard for me to come to grips with the fact that I will never be pregnant again. I LOVED being pregnant.
* Knowing I will never have another baby is making me cherish my kids even more.
* I love to talk. My mom says she wanted to name me Gabby instead of Kelly, I think that would have been a suitable name for me!
* When I was little I would fall asleep in my soccer uniform in bed surrounded by all my "stuff" that I couldn't live without. My daughter now falls asleep in a very similar way.
* As much as I complain about the gym, I do really enjoy going.
* Right now I can leg press about 190 pounds, but I have ZERO upper body strength!
* I have a tattoo of a leopard on my back and a flower on my arm.
* The flower tattoo I got after Andy died, he hated tattoos.
* I want to get another tattoo.....a mermaid holding a baby.
* When I was little I loved the water so much I used to think that if I stayed in the ocean long enough my legs would turn into a tail. I used to also think I could breathe under water if I just tried....imagine my heartache when I couldn't.
* I played the flute from 3rd grade to 8th grade and was first chair.
* I love to sing in the car. The kids love to sing with me.
* I am not one to enjoy chaos, I like my house to be quiet. Three kids don't really make that an easy thing to have.
* I get just as excited about Christmas as the kids do.
* I love to shop, especially for other people.
* I have a hard time spending money on myself, I would rather spend it on the kids or my husband.
* I would like to have a house at the beach when we retire....well I guess when Pat retires.
* I have only been to the following states: Maine, Connecticut, Vermont, Florida, Colorado, Maryland, South Carolina.
* I have never been out of this country.
