Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving here was full of firsts...Pat made the stuffing, I told him to use two loaves of bread and it should have been one, Kiera helped to stuff the turkey, mom came over to help cook and nobody ate what was cooked! Pat cleaned up and put the turkey, still stuffed, into the fridge. If you don't know, that is a big no-no. So not sure if we will be throwing out the whole bird, which again nobody ate any of, or if we can keep the bird but get rid of the stuffing. We will find that out later today when my mom comes over. Pat is going to get a couch which we are getting from one of my mom's co-workers, so he will get some alone time as he has been with the kids all week...I think he is going to leave for work Monday at 5am.
Andrew flew to Charlotte, my dad took him to the airport. Not like it really saved anytime, he was still at the airport two hours before the flight and then the flight was 55 minutes. I think the big thing was that one person involved didn't care to drive in the traffic. Then, even though we asked, we didn't get a call that Andrew got there....we didn't get a call until late Thursday from Andrew. Needless to say if the same happens at Christmas, he won't fly again. Andrew will be back Sunday, not sure of the time, again we are not getting all the info and this will not happen again. Kiera has been good this week, she got to play at a friend's house on Tuesday and had fun, she of course requested it again the second she got home. Jamie has not been feeling so great, we think he is coming down with something as he was up really early today and has been feeling a little warm. He napped for a few minutes while in the car but wouldn't go back to sleep once home.
It was really warm here earlier in the week and today it is cold!!! A cold wind was blowing and I am not to happy about it All the weather changes are going to make all my kids sick. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!
