Hey Y'all

Hi there. December has started off with as quick a pace as November ended. All the holiday shopping is done, we have a few stocking items left to get, but other than that we are done...yeah! Pat went shopping on Sunday with Jamie while I stayed here with the other children. It was actually very peaceful as the two older ones played outside and I was inside doing chores and resting at one point as I am still battling a cold. While Pat was out he got me my anniversary gift. Since he didn't get me one last year he made it extra special...he got me a lovely necklace which Jamie helped pick out. It has three pear shaped diamonds on it and they hang down in a line, smallest to biggest. I haven't taken it off since h gave it to me, and for those that know me well, that is pretty darn good. I usually can't sleep in rings or necklaces, so for me to have a necklace on for two days is pretty great. Saturday is Pat's work party, so I am not all that thrilled to go, but it will be nice to see some of his co-workers that I haven't seen in a while. I did go out and buy a new top and short cape as well as some new shoes to wear on Saturday. I am kind of hoping I can wear it all with dark jeans and "dress-up" the jeans with what I got. People wear such a mix of things to the party that I think I can get away with the jeans. Kiera has only this week and next left in school and then she is out for a few weeks...ugh. I am trying to make play dates for her...maybe I can get her to a museum at some point and time. Andrew has three weeks left and then he is only with us a few days and then gone for six to go skiing. Jamie has been a handful lately. He is a little tazmanian devil, going from one thing to the next jsut tearing it all up. He got into my bathroom cabinet and just pulled out everything, then went to the kid's bathroom and took out all the stuff in their cabinet and runs laughing! At lunch yesterday he climbed out of his seat and got on the table where he proceeded to pull all the napkins out of hte holder and throw them. He does that a lot, he just throws things just to do it. And he climbs...man does he climb. He has yet to try to climb out of his bed, so I am hoping he just doesn't think he can. Well Kiera is waiting ever so patiently for me to "switch out" her dolls. We only keep out so many toys as she has so much that is just makes a huge mess, so we put up stuff and we "switch it out" every few months. Have a great day! I'll post pictures one day soon...promise.
