Six years ago.....

September 2006

Well it has been six years since Pat and I said "I do" and it has been an interesting ride. Here is all that has happened to us over the course of our marriage....





December 29, 2001 - get married. We had a nice small ceremony at an Inn downtown with 40 guests. It was great. We then headed to Florida for a short honeymoon.





July 2002 - move to our first home and find out we are pregnant!





January 2003 - Kelly is laid off from work. It was ok as I wasn't going back to work after the baby was born. My life has been great being a stay at home mom.





April 2003 - Kiera Anne is born. Our little princess has kept us on our toes every since the day she came home!





Summer 2003 - Pat takes job as manager at another store 45 minutes away.





August 2003 - Andrew starts kindegarten. I cried more when Andrew turned five than I did when he turned one. My little boy was no longer so little, he was a "big boy" now.





Winter 2003 - Pat gets job at main branch as operations manager, very stressful and lots of hours....we didn't like this job very much.





January 2004 - we decide to put the house on the market to get a bigger house as we are busting at the seams in our current one.





April 2004 - move to our new house and love all the space we have!





Summer 2004 - Pat takes job at another store to manage and is so happy to be back! He is still at this store today.





September 2004 - we get our first puppy, Mia, a black lab who is adorable and we all love. Mia didn't live long, but the few months that we had her she was really a wonderful addition to our family.





January 2005- Pat and I decide to have another child...what are we thinking!!!



Summer 2005 - we get two new dogs, Daisy and Dean. Wonderful dogs until they start tos how aggresive sides, we have to find new homes for both of them. We are all very sad and wonder when we will ever find another dog for our family.


September 2005 - we find out we are going to have our third child and all of us are so excited!





May 2006 - Patrick James, III is born. Our little Jamie has been such a sweet boy, we couldn't have been more excited. I left the hospital on my birthday with our new baby, what a great gift!





February 2007 - Kelly decides, foolishly, that she needs a job of some sort as she is going out of her mind at home. I get a job at the local gym and it only lasts about 3 months, they really don't pay enough to deal with what you have to deal with.

May 2007 - get our two new kittens, Rose and Cupcakes. These two are so tiny when we bring them home we are afraid we will step on them. Now they are huge and run all over the place. They are so much fun and we can't imagine not having them here.





Fall 2007 - Pat and I decide to play soccer again. At first we both had a hard time running, but by the end of the season we are running like mad, and even scoring some goals!





All of this happened while we were still taking kids to gymnastics, soccer, baseball, basketball, school and preschool. We also decided, well I did, that we needed to volunteer with a local dog rescue. So I have been working with them as a foster and application coordinator. I also decided this year that being a room mom for Kiera's preschool and Andrew's class would be fun, and so far it has been. I have been in Andrew's class every Monday afternoon helping out and it has been great to form a relationship with his teacher and to get to know the kids in the class. Of course Pat has been growing his business like crazy! When he first started off as a manager he was selling half what he is now, it is crazy to think how much that store has grown in the past few years and how much more it will grow in the coming years. We look forward to the year ahead, Andrew turns 10 in a week, Kiera will start school and Jamie will be 2 in the spring! How time has flown by, but we are so greatful to have such wonderful families and friends to share it all with.
