Yard Work

Pat and I met with a landscaper over at dad's house and went over what we want cleared out...pretty much everything. The front, which is very overgrown and has lots of trees, will be down to three. The back will be down a lot too, but he isn't going to clear all of the lot, that would be to expensive right now and not what we want done. So next week he will spray the ground cover, let it cure a week and then be back around the 14th or 15th to get started. He said it should take a few days, three tops. He will take out trees, remove ground cover, take out tree stumps (roots and all, not just grinding them down) and he will grade the yard to get it ready for some seed. It will be a huge difference. We will have to take a before and after so you can see. I am also going to start looking for painters and getting some quotes. We want to get all major outside things done either before we move or shortly after. Then we can slowly get the inside done. I am really excited about doing things inside too, thinking of colors and how it will change the look of the house is really fun!
