All moved in, well mostly

We moved to the new house this past Saturday and it was a busy day. I got up and on the road at 8:45am, just as I was leaving the moving truck was pulling in. The movers got over to the new house at 1pm and were done at 3:45pm. The basement is packed with stuff, but we are getting settled. The bedrooms are pretty much in order, just trying to find homes for everything and do some little decorating. The kids play room is done, just a mess, and the ktichen and family room are settled. My sister and her husband had Jamie and Kiera all day Saturday and it was a huge help not to have two little kids that day. We got their rooms done before they came home and they were so thrilled to see their stuff in the new house. We have some random things still over at the other house, like the cats, and we will get that soon. Sara has done great here. Even without a fence she goes into the woods, does her business and then comes right back. Our septic issue should be resolved this week and then we can get the grass put down and the fence put up in the back. The painter will be here later this week, so we will be looking good in no time. After painting we may have to get some gutters put up, but Pat still has his work to do at the other house so not sure how that will all be balanced. Kiera has a birthday party to attend this weekend so I will head over and clean the house up, it is filthy even though I cleaned many times over the past few months...should have just waited! The carpet got cleaned yesterday, wow they did a great job! The new carpet gets put in today, so it will be looking great for a new owner. Once Pat gets his stuff done the house can go on the market. Landscaping here will have to wait until fall...I just can't focus on the outside right now. I will post pictures after the house gets a face lift.
