we are still here

i was told by my loving husband that i need to update the blog, so here goes.
it has been a rough few weeks here. andrew has had a rough go of school and is just having a hard time with some things, so we will go and talk to someone and see if we can't get things all settled back down for him. jamie has been a wild man as usual. he had his first day of school today, which those three hours to myself were wonderful. i love my children dearly, but i do need some space and today it was great. i took the dog to the park and we walked a bit then i let her swim. that was an experience. she was not sure of the water at first and then she wouldn't get out of it. i threw sticks and you would have thought i had a lab on my hands as she was right in there after them. she did get a fish hook caught in her pad, so after that happened we left....she was tired anyways. she has been laying around all day, so the swimming wore her out. we will do that more often. kiera starts dance in a couple of days and her schooling has been fine. she has had some tired days, but that happens all the time with her. andrew is also doing piano lessons and is enjoying them and he will start lacrosse next weekend. this weekend we are having a campout in the backyard with family and then a cookout sunday. it will be a fun and busy weekend, but we are looking forward to having everyone over. pat has been working his butt off as usual. i am still doing the same stay at home mom stuff. the kids track out mid october, we may have a few day trips then, and more camping in the backyard too.
