i have been really bad

so i know i have been really bad about putting things on the blog, i guess with facebook i put any little things there and move on, so this has been neglected. we are close to selling our house in WF, i just have to get a little more painting done and then it can go on the market. the kids are all doing great, we had some issues with jamie and school, but i think that is b/c he is a mama's boy and doesn't want to be away from me. he is getting better at going to school and it seems the library has been a good incentive, he loves to go and pick out all the books they have on trucks, fire trucks and anything like that. one day we cleaned out the whole section of nonfiction fire truck books. kiera is doing ok, she has her moments when she is a bit of a drama queen and i see into her future as a teenager, i must say i don't like it very much. i am trying to give her some more mommy time and that seems to help a bit. andrew is hanging in there, he has a mohawk right now and looks like that dude from Glee. he likes it but is a bit hesitant to have others see him as he thinks they will pick at him, and he is realizing his head gets cold a whole lot quicker with no hair. pat has been as busy as ten cent hooker on nickel night lately. i am glad he has a job, but the hours are killing him and me. there have been a few days where he has not seen the kids. he may get another store put under him, but no idea if that will really happen and if so when. if it does i really hope it comes along with a pay increase. i have been busy getting the family room out of the 70s and painting the wood panel on the walls. it takes a while to prime and then paint, but the results are awesome! it makes a huge difference. the walls are a light tan/cream called soft camel and the trim is dogwood petal white(not glaring white, but a nice creamy white). the fireplace mantel will be a dark drown called dark granite, it will be a nice contrast. i think i will bring that dark brown into the kitchen on the cabinets and tie the whole space together, hopefully it will look good, if not too bad it is staying that way as i am not doing a darn thing for a long time! sara is still a crazy dog, but we love her. she may go to the beach with us this summer, which i hope she will enjoy and not freak out over the noise of the ocean. i will try to post more, but i can't promise anything!
