Well Friday was the first day of school and it went great. I made Andrew the First day of School cake, it has become something he looks forward to. Now with Kiera going off to preschool I am going to make her one as well, of course she wants it pink.
Andrew has a great teacher this year and is really excited about all the things that he is going to be able to do in school. He wants to take Spanish and Band for the year, of course once he saw all the other great electives he could take he started to change his mind.
Kiera went and met her new preschool friends today and had a blast. It took her a bit to warm up, but once she did she was busy running around the playground and helping one little girl put her shoes on, it was so cute! She was able to peek in the door for her room and was so thrilled to see it has a dollhouse. We will go and visit the class next week and meet the teachers as well.
Jamie is doing great. He seems to be getting over whatever little cold he had. He isn't so stuffed up and was eager to eat cereal last night. He is doing really well with eating the cereal and fruit. I give it to him once, maybe twice a day and he gets really excited about it. We brought out the exercauser for him last night and he loves it. He loves being able to be upright and looking all around. Needless to say to Gymini has been retired as he is not thrilled being on his back anymore.
Pat took a few days off from work and it was nice to have him home. He was able to get a few jobs done as well as have some time with the kids.
I am getting ready to start making Kiera some dresses for fall. She and I went to the store and she picked out the fabric, of course some of it is Strawberry Shortcake!
