Our Crazy Piglets

Well Andrew made it home and it didn't take long for he and Kiera to start playing. Kiera decided that she would be a princess, big surprise, and Andrew would be the knight that had to protect her. Of course Kiera decided that she would wear the knight's helmet along with the princess dress, so she was kind of a warrior princess. Andrew had fun while he was away, busy doing day camp each day. He was able to see his grandparents and cousins, I think he spent the night with his cousins, which I am sure was fun! He busted another pair of glasses, the other pair broke while at camp in June. He was able to get the fixed and when we go to the doctor later in the month we will see if they have any glasses that he can't break. Of course seeing as how he is a typical kid, anything we get he will be able to break.
Kiera has been glued to Andrew since he got home...Andrew missed her too. Last night they read books in Kiera's room and Andrew fell asleep in her bed, of course she fell asleep in our bed. Both kids are going to take more swim lessons later in the month. Since it has been so hot here it has been hard to get out and do much of anything outdoors, so this will give them an outlet for all their energy.
Jamie is doing well. He still has problems if I eat dairy, so I am getting to know the soy products in the store. The soy yogurt isn't bad, just have to get used to the different taste. And the soy milk isn't bad with cereal either....haven't checked to see if there is soy ice cream...man I miss my coffee ice cream! Guess it is a good thing I can't eat it, maybe it will help me loose the last of this baby weight! We had to go get Jamie some new clothing today. He has been filling out the 0-3 month outfits for the past few weeks and I have put off getting him anything new. With him growing so fast it is hard to buy lots of new stuff knowing he will be out of it shortly. Maybe his growth will slow a bit once he gets moving around more. I measured him last night while he was laying in bed and he was about 27 inches in length. Not sure that is right as that would mean he would have grown 5 inches since birth...I'll try again later today. And we figure he is above 15 pounds now...my back hurts lots after carrying him around all day. No need to lift weights at the gym!
