No Peanuts or Eggs Please

Well in an effort to find out if Jamie is allergic to the dog we found out that he is allergic to eggs and peanuts. The egg allergy is low, so he can't eat straight eggs but can have them if they are baked in. The peanut allergy is moderate to high and he can't have anything peanut. I guess they felt it is bad enough that we have to see an allergy specialist and he has epi-pens now that I have to carry with me. I had to ask the pharmacist how to use the darn thing as I had no clue...real fun at the drive up window I might add. So, seems that either Jamie has some mutated gene to give him these allergies or the hospital just gave me the wrong baby...I'll go with mutated gene as he is a spitting image of his father. Just thought I would share the fun news with everyone...now I will be one of those nutty (no pun intended) parents that has to read every label and make sure nobody comes near Jamie with peanut food of any kind. Oh the good times just keep on coming!

Unbelievable! Mae also has milk and egg allergies as well as severe peanut also. YOu and Lauren should talk. She has an Epi-pen and we all know to not have peanut butter, etc around when Mae visits. Thank goodness you have found this out and can prevent a violent reaction. Nana
