Ok, so we told kiera that she needed to remember one thing when she and Pat went grocery shopping yesterday....red seedless grapes. So when they get to the store Kiera tells Pat that they have to get "red sivalous berries". Needless to say we got a huge kick out of that.
This week has been the week of the sickies in our house. I lost my voice last weekend (Pat was probably happy to some extent), and then on Tuesday I woke up with my ears feeling clogged and just feeling run down. Well whatever I had is now leaving me, thanks goodness, but Kiera seems to have the eye goobers and Jamie has the snotties and eye goobers. Only ones not to be bothered are Pat and Andrew.
Jamie is now pulling up on stuff and he is totally thrilled with himself that he is able to do this. We are now trying to baby proof the house as he gets into more stuff, so more reactive baby proofing rather than proactive.
Oh, don't think I told everyone yet, but we have a new member of the family, Havana. We have decided to adopt our foster dog Havana and we will officially do so on st. Patrick's day...so we will have to give her some sort of Irish name. We will most likely still call her Havana, but she will get a more formal name on the 17th. She is doing really well, she has meds to take for her shoulders and hips, but other than that she is a healthy dog.
And in baby news my brother and his wife welcomed a new addition to their family yesterday morning when their son was born. We are thrilled to have a new little boy in the family, now Jamie will have a little playmate!
