Hey

Hey - sorry it has been a bit since I have written anything. Nothing major going on here, school is getting ready to be done for Kiera, so we are busy with end of year activities with her. Andrew still has about a month, but then he will be done and moving up to the 5th grade!
Kiera had her 5 year check-up last week and I highly recommend letting your spouse take this kids to those as she had to get 5 shots and her finger pricked. She crawled under the bench in the office and cried. The nurse and I were on our knees trying to talk reason into her, like that will happen with a 5 year old, so I had to grab her and pull her out, lay her on the table and lay over her to hold her down so the nurse could give her the shots. the nurse was amazing...she is the best at giving shots. Kiera screamed up to the shots, she was THAT kid in the doctor office, but while getting them she didn't make a peep. I was singing in her ear, so maybe that helped. Andrew was a trooper and all he said was, "oh yeah that hurt". This was after I had taken Jamie to the doctor that morning to get checked out, he had a sinus infection. My co-pays that day for the doctor was $75....what the heck! I thought insurance was to help with costs and all it has done is go up on us. I recall the good old days of $10 copays, not anymore, they are $25 each. That day we spent $155 between co-pays and meds, it was awesome. Needless to say our stimulus money will go to the credit card. Which by the way we have yet to get even though the IRS website said we should have gotten it by now, guess they are behind. Big shock!
Well I have to run, Kiera just informed me that Jamie is in the sink squirting toothpaste all over....this should be fun.
