Braces!

Andrew needs to get braces, but don't feel sorry for him as the braces of today are not the torturous devices we knew as children. First of all they don't put those horrendous brackets on your back teeth ( you know the ones you had to bite down on in order to get it between your teeth) to hold the wire, they just put a small bracket on your tooth, and the wire is very flexible. Oh and did I mention the wire is temperature sensitive, so if it is bothering you, you can eat/drink something cold and the wire will relax a bit. The junk you used to have shoved in your mouth for the impressions....all changed! They don't use the massive metal trays and the compound used for the impressions is way better, even flavored! Andrew also got to go on his orthodontists website and plan out his band color. Yeah that's right, he can go to the website and see how the different color combos will look, print out the page and take it in to the office to have the bands placed. Oh and let us not forget the rockin' office. There is a coffee bar for us moms, animal crackers for your little ones, flat screen in the waiting room, arcade game in a small room for the kids to play while waiting, a flat screen with ESPN (or anything you like) on while you get the work done, or you can even play a little Guitar hero. I feel totally left out of all the coolness that is going on in that office.
