Of kids that is. Pat and I have been over at my dad's house for the weekend watching my brother's kids, Avery and Carson. Andrew has been a HUGE help, I am thinking of renting him out to other moms for a small fee. Carson has just loved having Andrew around. He has been able to wrestle with Andrew and had the best time with his big cousin. Avery and Kiera have been little peas in a pod all weekend. Jamie and Carson were ok with each other, but more than anything they would just bug each other. Pat and I got lots of looks when we went out this past weekend. you know the look of "don't you people know about birth control?" Well taking care of two extra kids is a huge birth control for us. Nobody really slept that great. Kiera was up and in our room at 5am two of the days and last night she was in there at 2am. I was up at 5am Friday and Saturday and just did not sleep great at night. Jamie passed out Friday and Saturday night; Avery and Carson went down easily but Avery is up before the sun and felt the need to wake Carson today. After our outing to Costco today, Pat got his flat screen tv, Pat and Jamie went home to hook up the new toy and Avery and Carson are now sleeping. So it is very quiet to have only Kiera and Andrew up.
Tomorrow Kiera and Andrew have VBS and I will just have Jamie, that will be weird to only have one kid for a few hours. After VBS Andrew has an orthodontist appointment just to have a consultation. I have another chiropractic visit tomorrow, hopefully the last, and then the week will be ful of VBS and dance class. Next week Kiera has her dance camp each day, only one hour each day, then we have the next week free and then school starts on the 25th...whoo hooo!
So this weekend was fun, it was possible to take care of five kids, but it was very tiring. I will be very happy to see my bed tonight and hopefully pass out in it very early!
