I talked to my dad today and he said that grandpa was better off today. The doctors still don't know what is causing all the issues, but they are not going to do any exploratory surgery to find out. He will need long term care, not sure if he will go to a facility or if they will get him in home care. For now I am not heading to Maine, so I will be home next week without kids. Not sure if I posted about it or not, I may have and if this is redundant I apologize, my in-laws are taking the two little ones to their place for a few days and Andrew will be at camp. Pat has taken off a few days and we will see how it goes for us to be around each other non-stop for that many days. We both hope to get some stuff done while we are without kids. Maybe we can actually get their bathroom finished and put back together.
I am sure that I will be walking the dog lots and going to the gym and then doing general errands. Pat and I may go out to eat some, maybe even to a place without a kids menu! It will be nice as we have not had any time together without kids since we were married.
I am getting excited about my new tattoos. My sister in law wants to go with me, I think I will convince her to get one!
