I didn't get to taking a picture of the kids for Christmas cards this year, so I will try to get one of the three of them Christmas morning and send out a New Year's card. I didn't want anyone thinking I didn't send them a card b/c I didn't send anyone a card!
Kiera was sick starting last Friday and of course it was passed on to Jamie who is having a really hard time with it. He starting coughing Tuesday night and it has gotten worse from there. He won't eat, (he hasn't eaten since yesterday morning) and he really is not drinking all that much, but it seems to be just enough. He really has not had much of an appitite for a few weeks, but this past week he really has gone to nothing. I try to give him anything and all he does he crumble it up and throw it, or if it does go in his mouth he spits it back out. He is like a walking zombie right now. the past two days he has been up at 4:30am and ready to be up. Yesterday he went back to sleep at 6am but today no such luck. He finally fell asleep at 10am in the car, but was up at 11:30am. I put him in bed about 20 minutes ago hoping he would go to sleep, but he is just in there crying. He is sooooo tired and worn out he just needs to sleep for about 15 hours, but being all congested he can't breath and wakes up. Pat and I were taking bets of which one of us will be sick Christmas day....I said him as he is totally run down from work, but who knows, I have been the one around the little snot machine all week.
Good news....my brother and his family arrived in NC today and will be here until January 5th. I will see them Christmas Eve and then at a hockey game and not sure when else....I want to make sure Jamie is better as they have two kids that I don't want to get sick.
Other good news, my mom and I are heading to the beach in June and are really excited about it. My Uncle Bill, whom I love very much and has been a huge part of my life (Andrew's middle name of William is after him), will also join us. He used to come to the beach for a week when I was younger and it was so much fun. It will be fun for the kids to get to hang out with him as they don't get the chance.
Ok, well laundry awaits, as does a crying baby and a four year old who seems to be tormenting him from the doorway. Merry Christmas!!!!
