Christmas

With all the craziness going on here with the puppies I have yet to post anything about Christmas. We had a nice time, very relaxed morning. My dad, sister and her husband came to see us in the afternoon, but other than that we were just here at home. Christmas Eve we went to my mom's house and celbrated with her and my siblings and their families. It was crazy like always, but enjoyable. The day after Christmas Pat took the kids to see his brother and family and celebrated there. After that he took Andrew to meet his father so they could go on their annual ski trip. Sunday Pat's parents and family came over. It was nice to see everyone and the kids had fun playing with each other. Pat's parents stayed with us until Tuesday morning then they headed for warmer climates.

New Years we did nothing other than tend to puppies and we also did nothing for our anniversary as we were not sure when Sara would have her puppies. I told Pat that each year our anniversary seems to get lost in the madness of Christmas, New Years's and Andrew's b-day, so we are going to start celebrating it in a month where there is nothing else going on...September. Now we are getting ready for Anderw's birthday which is Thursday, he will be 11. Jamie is sick, again. He looked at me last night and said, "i don't wanna be sick anymore." It was pitiful. I don't want him to be sick anymore either. He has had a rough winter so far and I hope he doesn't continue on this track of illness. The other two kids have not gotten sick, thank goodness. I don't think I could handle all three sick at the same time.
