The pups go to a new home tomorrow...woohoo!!! After many emails and much waiting, I got a note tonight that the woamn who was originally going to take Sara and deal with the whole birth thing and pups in December is going to take all 8 pups until they can go to foster homes at 8 weeks old. The pups will be 5 weeks old Tuesday, so she will have them for about three weeks. Pat and I are ready for them to go. We don't have the time or energy to deal with them anymore. I feel like all I do in my day is clean poop either from a pup or a kid. Our floor in the kitchen will need a huge cleaning. I have been mopping it almost daily but it is still full of grime and nastiness. I am tempted to call in a cleaning service and ask them to just clean the kitchen. My mom had offered to watch the kids while Pat and I went on a lunch date tomorrow. Guess that will be put on hold while we drive two hours away to take the pups to their new home. We have enjoyed their time here, but it is time for them to go elsewhere. My house is a wreck, I am getting sick (or maybe I am just plain exhausted) and my dog has not had the attention she needs for a few weeks now and I am ready to just have her and the cats. The kids are ready for them to go as well. I think Andrew and Kiera willbe ok, Kiera may cry to see her sweet little Rubby leave, but Andrew will be ready to see them all go as he is the one who helps the most. Jamie will be upset to see the pups go, he loves his Jesse. Hopefully I will get email updates on the pups and how they are growing.
So we will take one last picture with the pups and post it later. This has been an experience, but not one I care to ever go through again!
