Here are some more pictures of Sara and the pups. She is doing great taking care of the puppies needs. She is with them a majority of the time and gets out to go potty and to be loved on by us, but once one of the pups whines she is back in the bed with them. We have moved the bed to the kitchen from the basement; I thought it was getting too cold for them. They all seem to be settled in there new spot and Sara enjoys having us near. Today she came up a few times to get me and I took her out to potty but she would keep coming back. So we ended up going to the basement for a while just to be with her, we think she was getting lonely. I would be too after a week in the basement by myself! Sara is eating well, she eats tons and I am happy to see that. She is being pampered beyond belief right now. For dinner tonight she had a huge bowl of puppy food mixed with 1 1/2 cans of wet food, which for some reason she would not eat out of the bowl, so I had to spoon it onto the floor of the bed so she could eat and not leave the pups. Now I know what my husband felt like every time I asked him to get me something to eat and he had to wait on me. It is amazing to see how Sara tends to the pups and all there needs. There are a few times where she will get in the bed and be away from the pups and make noises (I guess to get the pups over to her), so I go to help them find there way and all are happy. Pat asked me today which one we are keeping. As much as I love them now, I would imagine that in 10 weeks I will be ready to send them off to new homes and just have my Sara. I may cry to see a few go, but they will go. Hope you all have a safe and happy New Year!
