Big Boy Pants

Jamie is now wearing big boy pants. I got the gerber training pants yesterday just to see how it goes. He seems to get the idea of using the potty, but has yet to figure out the feeling before hand, so I was thinking that maybe the big boy pants would help. Who knows, I could be way wrong. He is definitely going longer periods of time dry, so that is a step in the direction of potty training. Last night I sat him on the potty before going to bed and after a few minutes he actually peed in the potty. He was so excited. He gave me a double high five many times and had the biggest smile on his face. He was happy to flush it away and tell it bye-bye. Maybe we will be on the way to using the potty full time before school starts, but I won't push it. I also want him to br trained before we get the new hardwood floors in. He can pee all over the nasty carpet, but not on the new floors!
