Reasons for Being Slack

This is what I have done lately:
primed all the walls in the basement, it is an 800 sqft area which equals lots of walls
started painting basement with textured paint, which I will never again purchase as it is a pain to paint with. I have used two gallons and still have not finished the first coat, i need to paint two coats and hopefully not more
primed the stairwell to the basement
primed the basement bathroom
took down the vines that have been growing over the front porch, found 8 bird's nests and got a nice blister on my hand from so much clipping
trying to get in touch with repair people to fix the damage from the flood of '08 that Jamie caused, just saw him today and they will start work next week, hopefully
trying, and I must emphasize TRYING, to keep the house some what clean while containing the human tornado that we know as our youngest child
never ending laundry and dishes, which that is nothing new, but still it is something that i am attempting to keep up with, but Pat usually ends up with the dishes
cleaning up never ending cat puke, not sure what their issue is, but I am tired of it, woke up at 12am last night to a cat getting sick and had to clean it up...if a kid is not waking me it is a cat
swim lessons and dance lessons for Kiera, after swim lessons we are usually at the pool for a few hours where I have the pleasure of chasing down the tazmanian devil

Of course the typical daily stuff of fixing meals, wiping butts, and breaking up fights. And Pat and I try to squeeze in some "us" time after the kids go to bed, which Jamie has been fighting us on lately, so he isn't down until 9pm or later, so the "us" time is not very much.
We still have not gotten the bathroom vanities, but once we do we can hopefully make a plan on how to proceed with the bathroom. Pat is going to try to get some of the basement ceiling hung this weekend, maybe with my brother's help. The carpet may be laid next week, so I need to have the painting done before that. After the basement is painted I need to paint the half bath, the kid's bath, the stairwell going upstairs(or maybe just clean it really well) and the master bath. I also need to put on an extra coat of paint in the family/dining rooms.
So sorry if the posts have been a little lacking, as I know the pictures have been as well, but lately I have only had time to check email, and rarely respond, and quickly read friend's blogs before I am off to do something around the house.
Maybe I will post pictures soon, but I won't promise anything.
