Still Sick

Jamie is still sick, at least he has no fevers today. He is so congested, it sound shorrible when he coughs and his nose is so red and raw, he won't let us wipe it at all. He will take a cloth diaper and "dab" his nose, but don't even try to wipe it. His eyes are better, not red and swollen any more, he just looks really tired. He is napping right now, which is amazing as he is not a napper. He went down about 1:15pm and will most likely sleep until we leave at 4pm to get the kids. He needs to rest; he has been so beat up this week by this cold. Last night he got sick in our bed b/c he had so much sinus drainage that he choked on it, so that was fun to get cleaned up. Kiera sounded stuffy this morning, I have a slight tickle in my throat, so I am hoping we don't get this crud. If I end up sick it will not be good, that means Pat would have to stay home, or I have to find someone to help out, like my dad, while I lay in bed. Of course we all know I am not one to ask for help easily, so I will more than likely be on the couch while Jamie raises all sorts of hell.
Tomorrow Pat and I are taking Kiera to the ice show, she is very excited. If for some reason Jamie is still not feeling well, Pat will stay home with him and I will go with Kiera and my mom. If we get to the show and hour early we can see the princess dresses in the halls....again, Kiera is very excited. Pat and I found some stuff for the kids rooms at Lowe's, they are getting rid of wallpaper, so all the borders and appliques are $5. We got tons of Tinkerbell stuff for Kiera, and cool skateboard guy for Andrew, and the Cars movie appliques for Jamie. So if you are looking to put some stuff up on your kids walls, check it out.
I am off to finish washing the puke sheets...we had to totally strip the bed so I have lots of blankets and comforters to wash. Then I may actually do my own laundry as I have on my last pair of clean pants!
