Still watching and waiting

We are keeping a close eye on Sara and making sure we have everything we need to help her deliver her pups. I have been reading lots online and getting myself ready to be with her when she does give birth. Andrew has said he wants to help out as well, we shall see how long that lasts. I think he may be grossed out by it all, but he may surprise me. Yesterday we all just rubbed on Sara and gave her lots of love. While sitting on the couch with her we felt some of her pups moving. The kids thought it was so neat to feel the puppy move in her tummy. Her belly seems to have gotten bigger overnight. She is lying around, not moving much, and still eating lots. I think yesterday I nested for her! We got the whelping box ready for her, but I don't think she is too keen on where it is. We placed it in our bathroom since it can be closed off from the rest of the house, but she was not liking it all that much. She preferred to be downstairs, which made me nervous all night. We will watch her and see where she starts to build her nest and then move the box. Actually it is the kids swimming pool, they were not to thrilled to learn it would be used for Sara and her pups. Jamie quickly asked for a new one. I told him we will get a new one in the summer as I am sure this one will be nasty. We will keep you posted and will put up pictures of the pups when they arrive.
